What We Do – Kelem

Kelem Ethiopia (KELEM) is a local non-governmental, non-profit, non-political development organization committed to actively participating in the ongoing developmental activities of the country by creating access to quality education, youth empowerment, livelihood, capacity building, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) facilities, health, emergency response, environmental protection, and organizational income-generating activities. KELEM was established in 2003, specifically to support and build the capacity of marginalized communities. KELEM has its headquarters in Addis Ababa and regional program coordination and branch offices in various parts of the country.
