In May 2024, Sebila Kiyar took the role of Senior Finance Officer at Kelem Ethiopia, operating from the head office. Her responsibilities include the oversight of all financial activities, including the financial standing of the organization’s regional offices. Mrs. Kiyar brings to this position approximately fifteen years of professional experience, including previous roles as a Senior Auditor at the Red Cross and a Senior Accountant at Wegagen Bank.

Possessing a Master of Arts in Accounting and Auditing from Mekele University (2020) and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Ethiopian Adventist College (2009), Sebila has also augmented her academic foundation with specialized training. Notable certifications include coursework in Internal Control Systems (Ethiopian Institute of Financial Studies, 2021), Procurement Management and Property Management (Ethiopian Management Institute, 2021), and International Financial Reporting Standards (Addis Ababa School of Commerce/Ethiopian Red Cross, 2017).
